I do not know who reads this or if it will ever reach the person who it is intended for. Why cancel out both lyrics? The world the people forgot and the the people that the people forgot.. can you join both verses with yourself and the backup singers? Something that a group can make raspy and something that you the people can make raspy. Why not join the two together in a harmony that displays compassion and trial. Why not add the lead singers that are back up to your solo? It is more powerful in this instance to make all become one in different harmonies. Why not delay your singers to your stance and have them break free as the world and you as the person? Why not ? A voice is a voice. It carries a tune that will carry itself . No matter of versing on the people or the world… It would be a beautiful melody, lyrically..
